"MORE MICROBES = MORE PROFIT  - win-win solutions for dairy soils"

Dr Michael Quintern from Scion in Rotorua is coming to the Eastern Bay of Plenty, to update dairy farmers on developments in soil science and what this means for dairy pasture production and profitability.

“Things have changed a lot in recent years, particularly in our understanding of soil microbiology and its role in delivering nutrients to the roots” says Dr Quintern.  “This has important implications for your fertiliser programme – an area where, particularly at current fertiliser prices, you do not want to be wasting money”.

Dr Quintern has both the science and the practical knowhow to suggest some worthwhile changes of approach for farmers: this is not some wacky boffin but a former grower.  Following a 30-40 minute presentation he will be available for your questions.

We have arranged this seminar because much of what Dr Quintern has to say ties in very well with our company, products and application programmes – which we will outline briefly at the seminar.
